Community Science Monitoring

2. Join us for stream monitoring work on the banks of Miller Creek on MPG Ranch. We will assess fish habitat, identify vegetation along the banks, and count noxious weeds. For this event, volunteers will work alongside our Restoration Director Will McDowell, Project Manager Adam Switalski, and Community Programs Manager Lily Haines. Volunteers will walk through creek beds and duck below trees, so water shoes and comfort with these physical requirements are necessary. No previous monitoring experience is needed! As the date approaches expect an email with detailed information on where to meet, what to bring, and expectations. This specific site will be upstream of Little Park Creek trailhead.
